Crystal Grid Array of Various Mineral Points

Something I've always wanted to explore further and write about that I find myself sharing with others on a daily basis, is a regular segment on crystals - and other little tips on health and wellness, that not only aid your inner self immensely, but also allows you to feel beautiful externally.

The connected inner-outer self we feel each day is a direct result of our environment: who we surround ourselves with, what we eat, how we think, the way we see ourselves, and so much more - that truly creates the existence we experience every day. I have found solace in the affect my crystal collection has made on my self, soulistically AND you can decorate your house with them, too.

Win-win, win. My fascination with crystals really began about a year or two ago. I was awed by their naturally-created beauty, created from something so rough and bland on the outside into these sparkling, vibrant, and unique gems (and the earth built them!). I purchased a book on crystal properties and started doing what I do best – digesting. Reading, note-taking, inhaling every bit of information I could so that I could understand and identify all of the different
stones. Not only do you have so many beautiful colors and shapes and types of crystals, but there lies an entirely different world attached to these stones: the metaphysical side.

Could you really heal yourself, and manifest what you truly want through the art of meditation and the law of attraction? With practice, uninhibited belief, and an openly Zen mindset, I was totally sucked in - and blown away.

I had read some wonderfully written books (which well explain later) which all had a common thread, and a familiar theme, which all linked together for one big flick in my brain. I felt like I was seeing the matrix for the first time. Could it really be that simple?

I think that the most difficult part for me to understand and to fully wrap my head around... the simplicity of it all. Here me, complicated, a bit of an over-thinker, brain darting between this and that and here and there and what-if, coming to the realization that if I just step off the wheel for a second and exist in a state of now without any other thought other than the recognition and awareness of my own breathing, I could really begin to let go and truly delve into each of the healing properties of these stones. I'm going to start with rose quartz – stone of love, harmony within the self, the universe, and with others.
