Vulnerability takes courage, as the courage needed cannot exist without the vulnerability to ask for it. When I am searching for the courage to be, and the vulnerability to rise up to myself, I have to remind myself to call on my inner Lion Heart. It is a mantra I have long adopted to remind me to show up and be present and be mindful when I feel like backing down from myself, and shying away from the lion within.
