✨Meet the Designer
Motivated by her endless fascination with Rococo design, sacred iconography, visual arts and literature, French-American fine jewelry artist Margaux Perrier hand-carves every piece herself. Each design begins as a sculpture before it becomes something wearable.
"My jewelry is a blend of my French heritage with the sacred, spiritual and ethereal. Inspired by all that is dreamy, pastel and Rococo, I love to create jewelry that Marie Antoinette would wear.
My line is an extension of my heart, made to be worn as a personal talisman and a daily reminder of your own strength. As a French-American designer combining my adoration for the sacred with delicate wearable pieces, my goal has always been to hand-carve one-of-a-kind talismans, worn as devotion rather than decoration."
CHOSEN BY HAND
How I Select Each Stone
Every stone in my work is chosen by hand. Long before I made jewelry, I spent years working closely with crystals and gemstones, sitting with people one-on-one to understand what they were releasing or trying to call in, and helping them find the stone that matched it. I wanted them to feel like they weren't carrying it alone, and like whatever they were reaching for was theirs to have. That instinct for pairing a person to a stone has never left my process.
These stones changed my own life first. Working with them taught me things about myself I hadn't known how to name: what I was still carrying, what I was ready to release, what I actually wanted once I stopped listening to everyone else's version of it. My mission in making jewelry has always come from that same place, love, and the same desire to help others the way I was helped.
I source through a small group of trusted dealers across Los Angeles, New York, and abroad, working in precious and semi-precious stones as well as diamonds. I work with natural stones only. Lab-grown stones aren't part of my practice, with one exception: when a client brings me their own stone for a custom heirloom redesign, one that already carries its own history before it ever reaches my hands.
✨
Each piece begins hand-carved in my Los Angeles studio, then cast in solid 14k gold using the ancient art of the lost wax technique. I learned this craft directly from a master carver in Santa Monica, in his eighties by the time I found him, and I was one of his last students before he stopped teaching. Holding the wax for the first time felt less like learning a skill and more like remembering one, like picking up a paintbrush I'd always known how to use.
From there, every decision stays close to me: which stone earns its place in a design, where it sits, how it's set, how the chain falls. I carve first, always.
I work alongside a small circle of family-owned artisans for setting and finishing, craftspeople I trust the way I'd trust an extension of my own hands. But the design, the selection, and the eye behind every piece is mine.
Being : The Blog
Forever a reader and a writer before anything else, I've met my own moments of very real self-doubt, overwhelm, and moments where progress felt impossible. But just as often I've also met a strength I didn't know I had, and growth I never could have predicted.
I write about all of it: the creative process and the resistance that comes with it, rest and burnout, devotion and ritual, the story behind a stone or a new collection. Some posts start with a piece of jewelry, most don't. But they all come from the same place, a deep infatuation with creative design, visual arts, literature, French culture, and at the core, writing.
I share all of it because helping people has always been who I am. If a story from one of my darker or more uncertain moments can offer someone even a little light, or help them feel less alone, then it was worth the vulnerability it took to share it. That's where the growth happens, for both of us. And along the way, I'll sprinkle in the things that light me up too: art, Rococo design, French culture, classical music, because those shape everything I make and write, just as much as anything else does.
